Our Opening Date will be October 12. 2007  Travel is and always has been a big part of my career path. When I was in my early twenties I traveled to Europe with close friends. There I experienced the hospitality of a different style, the Bed and Breakfast of European country sides. The innkeepers, the ladies of the house were very unique in their decorating styles and cooking. Traveling back from abroad always made me wonder if one day I would call a Bed & Breakfast home. Spending many years in the service industry I loved meeting and serving people. While attending cooking school I knew this was a passion I could continue with if one day I would be able to find a town and building I could put my signature on . Here it is, this renovated creation, the Park House Inn. With many painting and stenciling designs and all the hospitality comfort I ever experienced abroad we give you a Quiet, Quaint, Down Home Comfort. My husband Rick and I have put many long loving hours into this establishment. We invite you to share this historic house. Experience the serenity of this building filled with many items of old. Many creative ideas and hands on projects have come out of this home. One of my grandmother’s favorite saying to her family was, many hands make light work. This women was a Midwest prairie farm women who loved providing for her family with her hands. She was a self - taught all American Craft Women. Her expertise was crocheting quilts for family and always crocheting for the ones that were in need. We heard many stories of my talented grandmother she always put a smile on many with her crochet gift giving. Take the motivation of my grandmother and let your creative heart flow. Through heart and hands of women in my family legacy I give you this place to create, this place of inn-spiration. Enjoy this home we call The Park House Inn.
